Getting Started

So it's two AM, and I'm in bed next to my sleeping girlfriend. I'm totally stressed out over the number of things I'm supposed to be doing at work and in my personal life, and that's before I even start to consider what how I'm going to pay to do all of the things I've committed to doing.

The only obvious thing to do is to commit my self to one more project, right? At least I'm going to give it a try.



Why add more to my plate? Well, frankly, my life is pretty good. I have a job I enjoy. I'm in the most stable relationship I've ever been in (with the most awesome girlfriend ever -- Hi dear!) and while I'm still a damn site from rich, I have enough resources to enjoy some pretty cool stuff.

About a month ago, Sioux and I threw a party that celebrated the cool stuff that people might choose to indulge in. We called it a "Virtue and Vice" party, and while we're too old to throw the kind of party that the title might of suggested, we still threw an epic party that put all of our dirty little habits on display and invited our friends an families to enjoy them with us. They loved it.

Now we can't throw that party every day (it would kill us) but I do enjoy a little indulgence almost every day and I want to remember that. I want to catalog those and be able to refer to my notes about what was good (or bad) about each. I want to keep tabs on the moments of bliss in my life.

If you can get some information or an opinion out of it, more the better.
